ARM - Aiming for Excellence (1)
This seminar is designed to assist principals and senior staff responsible for staff reviews. Different staff review models will be explored. Training will incorporate giving positive feedback and addressing difficult issues with staff. Strategies for recording information and keeping track of the review process will be provided and ideas to assist staff to develop their own professional action plans will be discussed.

This seminar builds on the ARM (1) program for those who have completed it in previous years. It is designed for principals and senior leaders who want to deepen their skill level and maximise the benefits of staff review programs. It will explore successful practice in schools and specific goal setting for future planning in schools. Participants will benefit from tailored active learning activities.

Fostering Leadership Teams
Presented by Dr Trinidad Hunt, this highly popular seminar focuses on high performance leadership. Building on her previous VIEU seminar that covered methods for developing emotional and social literacy in leadership teams, participants will learn to align their team towards school objectives, discuss leadership challenges and proven strategies for success.

Contemporary Legal Issues: Lawyers and Educators working together to protect school communities from abuse of the internet
This seminar will focus on the need to protect schools, teachers and students from YouTube and other websites that can affect them. This seminar will cover matters including:
- Privacy Law
- The regulation of online content
- Defining whether online material is legal
- Defining when posting material on the internet is a crime
- The right of the school, staff or students to take legal action
- Strategies to deal with the use of internet sites within the school
