Put Yourself in their Shoes

As part of IEU's "Put Yourself in Their Shoes" campaign and in support of ACTU's "Your Rights At Work" campaign, VIEU members are letterboxing in the seats of Corangamite and Deakin/Latrobe.

Thanks to all VIEU members who turned up on 25 September and helped launch the PYiTS campaign. After some hot nourishment and a rousing welcome from Deb James, General Secretary, VIEU members and their families armed themselves with PYiTS leaflets and hit the streets to do their bit for the federal election.

We still need more help in the seat of LaTrobe on Sunday 14 October from 10.30am, so if you are able to give up a few hours on the day, we would love to see you! The common meeting point on the day will be Marie Wallace Bayswater Park, entry from King Street (Melways 64 F3). Bayswater station on the Belgrave line is within walking distance.
