Level 2 Applications. 

Under the current certified agreement covering staff in Catholic Schools and the Catholic Education Office, teachers who have reached the top of the incremental scale may apply for classification as a Level 2 teacher subject to meeting 6 criteria. There are 2 salary subdivisions within Level 2, with the top rate being $67,517. Access to the second step is automatic after the equivalent of a year's service. Note: Level 2 classification is transferable between catholic schools should a teacher move to another school.

Unsuccessful applicants may appeal the decision of the Principal. An independent Statewide Appeal Panel has been established to deal with any appeals. The Panel, in accordance with a requirement of the Certified Agreement to do so , has established procedures for the manner in which appeals will be determined. Members who wish to appeal the decision of the Principal should contact for assistance.
