The Anna Stewart Memorial Program

The Anna Stewart Memorial Program is a two-week secondment program designed to promote women's involvement in the union movement.
During the two-week project, successful VIEU applicant/s will be placed at the VIEU office and experience the full range of union work including visits to schools in both sectors and enterprise negotiations. In addition, all participants meet at Trades Hall during the project to discuss women, work and union issues.
Please note that an interview process will be undertaken to determine the successful applicants. For more information and an application form, please visit the VIEU website or contact Therese O'Loughlin at the VIEU office.

Parental Leave Seminars

For members about to take parental leave, who are on parental leave or about to return to work after parental leave, these workshops will answer your questions about your rights and entitlements in relation to parental leave and returning to work will be discussed and practical advice provided.
